Welcome to Anderstunas Gård & Cottages – and to Sommarströms Cottages. Stay in a cottage with a private lake. Outer archipelago, about 10 minutes from Mariehamn, with road access all the way. A short walk takes you down to the lake, with a private jetty and your own rowboat. Life jackets are available.

Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out at 12:00 PM. If final cleaning is booked, check-out is at 11:00 AM.
PRIVATE ESTATE – PRIVATE LAKE
The estate has existed since 1635. The two cottages, however, are from the 1960s. Down by our private lake, there is a comfortable rock ledge for sunbathing. Here you may meet other guests from the estate.
OPEN SEA AND COFFEE TREATS
The cottages are close to a hiking trail that offers magnificent views of the Åland Sea.
Just a stone’s throw away is Stickstugan Handicrafts & Café with a beautiful garden – definitely worth a visit.
Sommarströms cottages are simply furnished. Cottage 101211 is an older cottage from the 1960s, and 101212 is a newer cottage that is partially renovated. This is for those who want to enjoy a summer atmosphere in the archipelago, close to Mariehamn and its amenities.

From Eckerö: Take road 1 to Mariehamn, then continue south toward Järsö for about 10 km. Just before the T-junction, turn right onto a small gravel road, drive 200 meters, then turn right again onto a small grassy road leading to the cottage. From Mariehamn: Take Järsövägen for about 10 km, then follow the directions above. Please contact the cottage host well in advance to agree on arrival time and key handover.
