Bomarsund Visitors Center
During the Crimean War in 1854, the fortress was destroyed, but to this day the remains testify to a large-scale fortified area with impressive visions. Scattered across the landscape are also traces from residential areas and burial grounds.
Today, you can visit the historically interesting area and the Bomarsund ruins all year round.
Bomarsund's visitor center is open 2 May - 30 September 2024, at 10 am-5 pm daily.
